Hello,
I am posting to alert that your site is not well viewed on Opera Browser (last version to date), so i am asking you to try to put your site more standard. Dont folow the bad examples as the microsoft website :)
Tks :)
Howdy
The advertising on the right hand side of the Kerneltrap mainpage seems to of blow out of proportion squishing everything else.
I have a screen piccy of it if someone wants it but i have no where to host it ATM :0)
Slight thing I just noticed... if you click on FAQs at the top, you arrive at the book listing page. But of course, there's only one book there.
The introductory paragraph of the FAQ book makes it look as if you're already at the FAQ page, but that it got cut off for reason.
This could be classified as a Drupal UI issue really (perhaps a 'read this book' link could be added below each item). I doubt Kerneltrap's audience will not be savvy enough to notice the title has to be clicked, but still it's a flaw...
I just tried the moderating thing and couldn't see the moderation results afterwards though the messages seem to be moderated as different comment viewing levels suggest. IMHO if there is moderation the results should be visible.
Concerning the comment viewing option it would be nice to be able to change the viewing level without saving the settings, e.g., some kind of update button next to the save button (/. style).
Posting some replies recently I really miss the feature to cite the message I refer to. Doing it manually via copy&paste ist not very encouraging since I have to set the line breaks manually and all the formatting of the cited text is lost. Are there any predefined solutions to this in Drupal?
Also it would be nice to have the topic set to 'Re: <ParentTopic>'.
Cheers,
Thorsten
Clicking on the name of an arbitrary user (not mine), eg., Jeremy, I only can see the Name, view recent blog entries or recent posts, but no other information. This seems to be a little sparse in contrast to the many categories you can fill in for your account. Do I miss something or is this the right behaviour?
Thorsten
As far as I can see as a normal user it's only possible to submit a 'personal blog entry' or 'forum topic' but not a story. Is this intended or do I miss some magic option/button?
