create a new folder and rename as con ,but you will see the folder not getting renamed do type "con + alt+0160 and you can create the folder named con

Fedora with Windows vista : windows explorer restarts

I bought a PC with windows vista home basic installed in it. i Installed Fedora9, everythin is okay wid fedora, but windows is givin me trouble.

Windows explorer stops abruptly. Sometimes i would be doing some important stuff explorer crashes.
Please Give me solution. links that might be helpful..

Extended configuration Read/Write

App Bombs in CMD Window but Not in Msys

Hello. For some reason my app runs just flawlessly in the msys window but from a windows cmd window I get this:

timecodecalc.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

I tried a static compile but got the same result.

I am studying in RVS college of arts and science, III-Bsc(CS).
I had found out how to create con folder in desktop.

Many of them said it is failed(Creating con folder in desktop).
But It's very simple..

go to DOS prompt

By default it will display as,

packet drop

hi,

Am using a client to recieve data packets from a server. For higher bitrate contents, most of the packets are geting dropped which leads to glitches.

What can be the reason for this ?

Toshiba laptop locked up, wanting password problem

If you have this problem, try holding and keep holding down the Shift key before and during the bootup process. This worked for me to correct the problem.
