Hi,
I have installed OpenBSD 4.1 and KDE 3.5.6 from the oficial repository and now I am trying to build KDE software on this and for some reason I don't know it is not working.

Hello,
I have a nagging problem that has plauged my openbsd systems for YEARS.
Picture this, openbsd firewall three interfaces. xl0 is the outside interface which is connected to an business class road runner cable modem connection.
I can do dhclient xl0 at the console and grab an lease just fine from the cable modem. NOW, if I reboot the machine it will not get an lease. I have to manually do it from the console. The firewall/router machine is 3.9 at the moment but I have had this problem ever since 2.7. It isn't THAT big of a deal since the machine rarely needs rebooting but it sure can be annoying when there is a power outtage for instance.

Hey,
I am trying to update to sendmail 8.13.8 on OpenBSD3.6. I have also tried sendmail 8.13.6, however I am getting the following error. Is there anyway around this, without having to upgrade to the latest version of OpenBSD?
../../sendmail/sendmail.h:96: netiso/iso.h: No such file or directory
*** Error code 1

Hello Folks,
I'm able to set up a VPN connection between two networks when I know my peer VPN gateway address. I need to set up our VPN gateway in such a way that our staff can access our internal network from any where in the world. What this means is that we don't know the IP address that they will be connecting from, but they know our VPN gateway's IP address. I tried setting up our isakmpd.conf in a similar manner, except that I put 0.0.0.0/0 for the peer gateway, but then isakmpd complains that it can't create a connection to the IP address 0.0.0.0. I've tried googling and searching on the 'Net for such a config, but I can't seem to find any. Could you help me out or point me in the right direction.

Bob Beck announced the release of OpenBSD 3.9 today:
"We are pleased to announce the official release of OpenBSD 3.9. This is our 19th release on CD-ROM (and 18th via FTP). We remain proud of OpenBSD's record of eight years with only a single remote hole in the default install. As in our previous releases, 3.9 provides significant improvements, including new features, in nearly all areas of the system."
OpenBSD 3.9 can be purchased as a 3-CD set to help support the OpenBSD project [story], or freely downloaded. The theme song for the upcoming OpenBSD release is titled "Blob!", a cautionary tale about the growing prevalence of binary blobs among open source operating systems and where this might lead [story]. Read on for a detailed overview of what's new in this latest OpenBSD release.
