Marcelo Tosatti has released 2.4.23-pre3, announcing at the same time that he's moved from Connectiva to Cyclades:

"Hello, here goes -pre3. Most changes are network and network driver updates. We also have DRM supporting XFree 4.3 now. As one may have noticed from my email address I got a new job: Cyclades is now sponsoring my kernel work."

When asked about the current status of the -aa VM merge effort [story], he noted that he's waiting for a patch from Andrea Arcangeli. Andrea replied, "I'm busy with [other] work at the moment, I'll try to submit before the weekend".
