RT-Tester Interpretation

Hi ingo,
Can you please give me some information on RT-Tester, that is used when we work with RT-Preempt patch on kernel linux-2.6.16. The patch used is patch-2.6.16-rt29, it is applied to the kernel without any hunk failures. But you are also mentioning about testing tool as "RT-Tester ", where the RT patches are provided.I am running the RT-kernel on PPC board mpc834x, but running every test condition gives me output as PASS. How can we interpret the output displayed after running every test condition. Can you give some interpretation for these test cases ?

Newer rt kernels

Hi, have you tried newer kernels? I looked into this a while ago Thomas' stuff didnt appear to be that well integrated into the PowerPC branch.
It looked like Thomas' stuff was dependent on dyntick work, so it may all be working in 2.6.21-rc's.
