I upgraded a couple of dual-xeon systems here to 2.6.17 and am now only getting approximately 10MB/s disk throughtput compared to 20-40MB/s on identical hardware running 2.6.16. Tested by timing large file copies on a quiescent xfs filesystem.

Anyone else seeing this?
