I want to create a test bed with Linux Machine as Router and MPLS configured on it.This Machine I wish to peer it with Cisco router.
My aim is to study MPLS functionalities on Linux machine configured as router and performing MPLS switching.I wish to enable OSPF as my link state protocol, BGP to exchange VPNV4 information, and also run LDP if possible. I have my own Protocol tester so that traffic analysis and frame/packet analysis can be done precisely.
Request to help me out in carrying this activity.
why don't you join Sun or Cis
why don't you join Sun or Cisco, that might solve your issue? :)
mpls-linux
The Web page of the MPLS for Linux project seems to be worth a reading :
http://mpls-linux.sourceforge.net
It seems that you will need quagga to make your routing protocols work with MPLS.
I would like to know what kind of thing you plan to do with only one machine (I have a basic knowledge of MPLS) ?
Good luck
