Day 2 didn't get as nearly as far as we'd expected. We actually got a later start than day one (4pm, versus 2pm), and then spent a nice evening visiting my Aunt Helen in Georgia. We had noble plans of driving through Alabama and Mississippi before stopping, but saw a comfortable motel in central Georgia which changed our plans.

There it is, the moment we'd been waiting for. Crossing the Florida state line. Amie, Tripper and Haelo, all excited.

Mango and I are recognizing just how big the US is, and how many miles we have yet to drive.
