I have Aspire 5000 Series Laptop,

I have installed RED HAT 7.2, While instaling linux, my graphical cord is not present in the RedHat graphic cord listing. I am working in command prompt only i cant boot in Xwindows.
later I tried with installing Mandriva 2006 in this also i cant boot that Xwindows.

also if any one knows pls tell me Horizontal and Vertical Sync for my lpatop monitor 15.0" XGA color TFT LCD,

What do i do? is there any graphical driver for for linux.if i instal it, is that ok ?

please clear my problem.
