Senior QA Engineer (ENG-SRQA)

Primary Responsibilities:
Develop test plans
Develop and execute test cases
Design and develop test tools and automation

Requirements:
BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent
7+ years relevant work experience, including some development experience
At least 3 years experience in a system test environment, preferably with an infrastructure product such as an OS, Systems Management tool, storage management product, or networking product
Passion for proactively finding bugs BEFORE the software is released
nterest in working closely with the development team
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Additional desirable skills:
Strong aptitude with programming in C and C++
Experience with UNIX shell scripts, Perl, and Expect
Familiarity with gnu programming tools (gcc, gdb, etc.)
Experience with Linux and multi-threaded programming fundamentals
