Moving day

Never mind *why* I'm up right now, the fact is, I am.

Played two pretty damn decent shows with the Andys this weekend, but I was too out of it to notice because I felt like crap. And Neil says I never get sick. Right before Friday's show, I had a splitting headache out of the blue that 4 ibuprofen wouldn't kill. Then I just felt weird and woozy, culminating in some praying to the porcelain god as soon as I got to Kari's that night. I felt immediately better afterwards, and I assumed it was food poisoning or something.

Saturday I woke up and felt a little dehydrated and stiff, and then things just deteriorated. I was pretty cold, but the heat doesn't work in Kari's house, so I assumed that I'd be fine once I went outside. Kari and I went to Sweet Tomatoes for some lunch, and I went from chilled to big-time fever, with aches and pains all over. Of all the weekends to get sick, this couldn't have been a worse one!

Kari stuck me in bed, and we both slept through just about all of Saturday. I woke up with about an hour to go until the Saturday show, and, while still a bit stiff in the joints, I was ready to play. Hung out for a little bit to talk to some friends who showed up afterwards, then split. Went back to Kari's place and did some Olympic sleeping to get rid of this bug.

All of this put me seriously off-track on packing up the place in preparation to move. Today, Kari and I went to town on my place. I got rid of all my Sun hardware, and threw out a bunch of other crap. The bedroom is completely packed, the kitchen is basically there, and the computer room is mostly there. I haven't really touched the living room, but that basically amounts to unplugging all of the stereo gear and packing the books.

Move in is today. I'm hoping to get most everything moved today, and then I'll start clean-up on Tuesday of the old place.

Send the pain below...

Well dude, I'm here to help with the move, when you're ready. I had almost forgot till I checked my Outlook calendar; it's a good thing I took "Buck" the scrappy inline six Ford F-150 to work this morning.

Your Friday Andy's show was amazing; you had quite the crowd and quite a bit of applause. I wouldn't be surprised if you guys were HA regulars now. You guys were *sooooooooooooooo* *gooooooooooood* (TGS'd!)

Choice. Sorry to hear you're sick, we'll help ya through it. Cheers.
