Hey Guys ! have anyone of u found any easter eggs in Windows XP..Some websited still claims that WinXP contains easter eggs..lets find out !

Are you nuts? "CON" is short for "CONsole". You can't create a folder named con because it is a DEVICE NAME! Same to com1 or com2 which are the names reserved for serial ports. RTFM Dos Manual.
I can't beleive so many websites still consider that to be an egg.
Here is one more ESPECIALLY FOR YOU:
1. create a file called egg.txt in the root of your C: drive. Type "Microsoft SUXX" without quotes there.
2. create a folder called EGG in the root of your C: drive
3. type "COPY C:\egg.txt C:\EGG\egg.txt"
4. See if you folder EGG has any new files!

try to delete the XEROX folder in your PROGRAM FILES folder.
Yes! Yes! You do have it. All of you. And you will not be able to get rid of it.
(If you have a localized version it will be in a folder which corresponds to Program Files folder in the English version: e.g. Programme in the German version of Windows).
How much did Xerox pay for such a bug?

There actually is a way to ge
There actually is a way to get rid of this one, if only temporarily. You can boot to a Knoppix CD with NTFS support or a WinPE (like Barts win PE) and remove it from with in there, but the problem is that every time you reboot back into XP off the hard drive the folder is automatically created.
I wonder how this happens - is it in the registry, a windows program, a windows service, or a 3rd party program that does this. I usually configure my systems to only boot minimal programs and services, but this folder is still created, even with only a minimal boot-up.
Has anyone found out where in the boot process this folder is automatically created (assuming its been deleted by WinPE or Knoppix) and how to stop it from being created?

You cannot delete system files. If you manage to delete them, they will be automatically restored using the Windows File Protection System. However, if you want to change the file you should also change the copy located in the %systemroot%\System32\dllcache\ folder. Windows will shame you asking for the Windows CD-ROM if you give it they will be restored. Otherwise you will keep the "modified" version.

the reason you can't delete the XEROX folder is because that is where winlogon.exe is located. if you don't believe me, goto download.com and search for unlocker,and download that program. then install it and when you try to delete the folder it will tell you that winlogon.exe is using the folder.
