Found a faulty unit of appliance in the office. I suspected is a software problem and dicided to bring back to my house give it a try.

The reason why I want to format the OS of the default hardware.

1. This is a old unit.
2. The unit is going to be outdated.
3. Nobody is using this fellow for more than 3 months.

The Spec of this Unit.

1. An chip base IDE disk. 128MB.

2. I added a new RAM, now is 512MB.
3. Celeron 1.2GHz
4. An Intel , Dual Interface card.

Few things need to do before installing other OS.

1. You need a AGP card.
2. You need a CDROM
3. Monitor / Mouse / Keyboard.
4. An OS of your choice ... Of couse pfsense.
5. Take out the network card and change the jumber.

Network card jumper settings.

1. We need to change jumper 05,06 and 07.
2. Change it from 01,02 to 02,03

BOIS Settings.

1. Enable IDE02
2. First boot device , CDROM
3. Second boot device, HDD-0

Installing Pfsense,

1. Just follow the instructions.
2. There will be few warning cause by small HDD. Ignore it.
3. Swap memmory .. 4 Meg. Again, there will be warning.
4. Install.

After finish installing, IP address for NIC's required.
Pfsense able to do a aDSL dailup via pppoe too.
