Status of i945G Chipset Support

How well supported is the Intel i945G chipset with the 2.6 kernel? I've been getting some conflicting information from a few people. I don't currently have a board to test myself but currently planning a new compact MicroATX system around this board and don't want to run into any snafus after purchase.

Hi, have a look at the gentoo wiki at http://gentoo-wiki.com/HARDWARE_Intel_945G. As far as i can see it is supported in kernel 2.6.12 and above.
