Direct OpenGL to TFT interface

Hi,
does somebody know about an OpenGL core for FPGA?

I have a TFT module and I want to use it as an additional display (here it is: http://diary.rozsnyo.com/2005/07/28/TX26D60VC1CAA.html) - so my intention is to make an intelligent module from it. My design lead to a thing very similar to OpenGL - a machine which quickly processes the instructions. The processing power on the display's side is in my case needed because of small bandwidth serial/USB connection.

Or would be easier to get a USB-to-PCI chip and a PCI-graphic controller for laptops (because of TFT output and integrated videoram) and don't develop a custom (open/opensrc) solution?

(the application is of course as linux-only)

I'll be glad to hear any comments on this topic,

Daniel

well, there's nothing right now...
but the project "Open Graphic" will probably do something like that... you can take a look at their wiki:
