Another weekend down....can't say that I did too much. Neil and I washed and waxed my car, and I helped him out with some minor plumbing repair. Hung out at the Monastery for an hour or so and watched Ted and friends play volleyball, followed by a spirited discussion afterwards that featured cartoons and sex.
I bought "Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back" on Friday, so I'm building up the Kevin Smith collection a bit.
It's getting oppressively hot here again; it's been between 105 and 110 all weekend, so summer is now coming in with a vengeance. I've got to find some indoor physical activity; I think swimming is going to have to be it. Today I shaved the lower half of my head in order to be able to shed some extra BTU's in the summer heat.
We've been working decently hard in the band in preparation for a house party we're going to play at Ted's house on the 10th of June. We also started recording some songs where I'm actually playing drums on them, in preparation for a website. Here's a recording we did of a song called Knob. We did it on a Protools setup at our practice space. It's rough, we didn't overdub the vocals, or fix any mistakes, but it's a reasonably accurate portrayal of how we sound live.
I think one of my future computing goals is to become a hardcore brotha at OpenBSD.

Can't wait for the house party show, I'm sure it'll be great (I can provide much alcohol and be a roadie, right?)
Thanks for the plumbing repair. You is a hardcore e-72A, but also a hardcore pipe-hittin 72A! YEAH!
Knob was stuck in my head until about 10:30 PM...I must have listened to it another three times after you left. Damn those catchy choruses.

Dude!
Everytime I comment it takes forever to post? Anywho, I like the song! It sounds a little bad religion'ish if I might say? Kind of reminds me of crazy taxi on the dreamcast!
