I saw the comment on not being able to connect to https: and it terminating unexpectedly
where I work we have an online store so of course https is very important.. we have a valid certificate but we cant make the https work on a new server we are setting up.. if you wouldnt mind could you please tell me how you fixed your problem.. you dont have to give away any secrets but I am at a total loss, I have tried so many different things and nothing has worked.. I will be totaly greatful for any help.

I am hesitant to login without the https going. Is it only me, or is it a problem at the server end?
I understand you are probably too busy getting all the shift-related issues sorted out, just want to make sure the post does not slip through.
