hi, i run slackware 10.0 and i have upgraded these days to 2.6.10 kernel. all seems work fine except acpid.
with kernel 2.6.8.1 i could in every moment check battery state typeing
cat /proc/acpi/battery/BAT1/state
but with the new kernel this is not possible beacause acpid is not able to refresh or check battery state after boot.

any ideas?
