Took a trip to Nashua to Best Buy to check
out our DVD player. It worked fine on the set in the
store. Puzzled, we blamed the TV.

As this wasn't one of our better days, we did
some retail therapy, and bought another TV set
for the bedroom, and then ended up at the Apple store.
Bought Victoria a 15" Powerbook. It's very shiny.

Out of curiousity, in the evening, we hooked the
TV up to the cable socket on the wall, and to our
surprise, we got free cable. 80 or so 'basic' channels,
but for free, it was a nice surprise. Too bad we had
already booked the cable guy to come out and hook us up.
