Senior Systems Software Engineer
Job responsibilities:
The candidate will be responsible for designing, enhancing, and supporting BSD Unix OS, BSD tools,CPU Board bring up.
Job requirements:
The successful candidate will have at least 3-5 years of experience developing BSD Unix internal, CPU board bring up (Intel, PowerPC), be familiar with software development processes and have good oral and written communication skills. BS is required, MS preferred. The following experience is required:
Extensive of experience in a technology-driven fast paced environment.
Strong hands on in-depth experience with NetBSD Unix Internal, CPU (Intel, PowerPC) architecture, memory manager, Boot loader, BIOS, debugger.
Strong programming experience in C and assembly(Intel and Powerpc)
The following additional experience is highly preferred:
Background in embedded system software design/development
Worked in an data switch/router project
Experience with hardware debugging tools such as JTAG, ICE, oscilloscopes
