Workin' for the weekend

Two days now at work....the first semi-serious job I've worked in a damn long time. Things are going OK, my first day was a little shaky (for me), I felt. I didn't really know anybody other than Neil, and I felt a little weird sort of diving in and having to ask people for stuff. But I'm getting settled in; my PC at work is a 2ghz P4 Dell Box with 512 MB of RAM. I'm running RedHat Enterprise Server (in spite of it being a workstation), and I've got VMWare installed with Win XP Pro (for support purposes only!).

I don't have too much to say I guess. I've been playing guitar about every night and sometimes Neil joins in and we sing cover songs badly together. It's pretty fun. Lisa is coming out next Saturday for her birthday, and we'll hang out. Lastly, don't forget Les who's about to get hitched. Congrats and good luck man!

Thanks

Wish you were able to be there.

With how close we've gotten over the years, in my mind anyway and no offense is meant by this, but you would have been asked to be best man had Matt not been able to perform the duty.

Dude, I honestly had no idea...

That means a lot to me for you to say that, though. Thanks man.

Besides, for guys, it's not the wedding that's important, it's the night of, right?

No Problem

Something like that.

Anyway, on the BestMan stuff it all worked out, this arizona trip is doing you much better than a "Les got married and all I got was to carry him around drunk in Seattle" t-shirt.
