Quite serious kernel bug?

Have you guys seen this:

It describes a possible 2.4/2.6 kernel bug that allows any user with local access to freeze the kernel. I've tried it on a couple of systems - and they all went dead.

This could be ugly!

Yes, I know about it, but I've planned to post about it when they get a kernel fix out for this bug.
