Just wrote my hello world in Parrot.

print "Hello World!\n"

Parrot and the whole Perl 6 has been fascinating me lately. The new architecture looks clean and promising. I have very little knowledge on the subject of compilers but the somewhat higher level parrot code "assembly" with built-in string functions and intelligent operators strike me as a bit strange. Not yet sure whether this high-levelness is a good thing or a bad thing.
