Relevance To Kernels and KernelTrap

When deciding whether or not a given article is appropriate to KernelTrap, the first thing to ask yourself is, "Does this article have anything to do with kernels or kernel development?" No matter how significant or exciting the news may be, if it doesn't have to do with kernels, it doesn't belong on KernelTrap.

Additionally, KernelTrap is not a news portal that simply links to articles on other websites. While you are highly encourage to include links to earlier KernelTrap stories and other sites in your own stories, it is not permitted to post stories to the front page that are only links. In other words, do not post stories that say something like "Check out this great story on this other website...", even if the story is about kernels or kernel development. That said, it is perfectly acceptible to post such stories to the appropriate forum.
