Does anyone know whether kernel 2.4 can share its filesystem with 2.6.2 on the same machine if the MAC/MLS is enabled in kernel 2.6.2?

Thanks,
Elton

Yes, it runs perfectly for me. Don't modify any of the rc files, then you should be able to switch back to 2.4 easily and safely.

Where the SELinux policy goes?

Sound's good.

For RedHat 9.0 with kernel 2.6.2, where we should put the policy file in? Is someone there who can point out where the docs are for configuring kernel 2.6.2 with MAC/MLS or SE Linux functions?

The following is quoted from sourceforge SE Linux site:
"On Debian, the policy source directory is /etc/selinux. On Fedora it is /etc/security/selinux/src/policy.".
