I installed kernel 2.6.1 on Mandrake 9.2 . All seems to work fine except that when booting the system goes in init 2 level. At this point I can type init 5 and it's working (X, network, ..)

Any help?

Change the line

to

id:5:initdefault:

I had checked it.
I reccompiled the kernel and now all are fine.
