i got sound error message as shown below after compiled and install kernel-2.6:-

Sound server informational message:
Error while initializing the sound driver:
device /dev/dsp can't be opened (No such file or directory)
The sound server will continue, using the null output device.

i did compiled the driver for my soundcard that is the modules: es1371(current module name in kernel 2.4.20)
i have creative vibra 128 soundcard and i compiled "pci device" (Creative) Ensoniq AudioPCI 1371/1373 as a module and
soundcard support as module. why i still dont get sound ?

and my new kernel-2.6 got this error message when bootup how to fix them?(i got this message from "system logs") :-
