Is he some sort of enigma or a mythological character like a penguin?
I hear so much about him but I have no idea what he looks like. Everyone knows what Bill Gates looks like - plenty of photos, and a great gif of him being hit with a tasty ream pie (he even has a topic in this forum!) but I have never seen a photo of Linus Torvalds.

No he's real enough you can find pictures of him on the internet. The only photo of Ingo Molnar, on the other hand, that you will find is this: Ingo.

have you ever heard about google and their image search?
Lets see, if I want to look for Elvis pictures, I got two main options.
one) google.com -> images -> type "Elvis" and hit SEARCH
two) find a forun and ask for somedoy to provide me with an easy link, making in the process waste time for people.
Is it that dificult for you to find a picture of such a visible man?
anyway, I better keep looking for linus pics, I found a ton, but I dont like any.
