I'm having problems trying to get WDM to run under NetBSD5. Startx works and a fluxbox session opens without problems, mouse working and everything.

XDM kinda works. Login screen appears, accepts username and password and loads a fluxbox session. Only problem is now the mouse doesnt work.

WDM fails miserably! The logon screen displays and accepts the username and password. This time though X bombs out on loading fluxbox and dumps me back at the WDM logon screen, in an endless cycle. Also the mouse doesn't work (again).

I'm using the WDM pkg from the latest pkgsrc CVS. I have a ~/.xsession symbolic link pointing to ~/.xinitrc which contains a single line 'exec startfluxbox'. Like I say both startx and xdm use this just fine.

Anyone got any pointers as to why the mouse doesn't work with either display manager, but does work under startx? And why XDM can load fluxbox but WDM can't?

I've also discovered that the mouse only works with startx as su, the mouse doesn't work as a standard user.
