Hi...
i want to run some other script instead of the normal login screen ....and use the output of the script for authentication.
so i need help for doing this.
can anybody tell me how can i proceed.
first
for runing my script during login
second
how can i use it for authentication
(like how the normal login does after we enter the password)

Seriously, wouldn't the simplest be to write a new module for PAM doing what you want ?
