Hi,
I am using D-Link DWL-g122 WiFi card with ralink RT73 drivers. I cant sniff packets which are not destined for my machine. (I am using wireshark). when i read my log file i find

Sep 20 13:23:57 localhost kernel: device eth1 entered promiscuous mode
Sep 20 13:26:37 localhost kernel: device eth1 left promiscuous mode

but I cannot capture packets which are not destined for my machine. I have also tried to use Libpcap to do the job. but i could not sniff the packets. I am using my WiFi card in Ad Hoc mode and all network traffic is at the same chanel i.e. 11.

what could be the reason?
Is there any thing wrong with my WiFi card?
