Please give the steps for open (), write () and read () on a char device. Creating procedure, file system and mounting that char device to one of /dev/XXX to some /mnt/YYY device.

we can use /dev/mem for open,write, read. it is availble in all the arch.
/dev/mem is likely going to be removed, kthxbye. Fedora already did it.
