Booting from USB: Unable to mount root fs on unknown-block(0,0)

I have use the instructions given here ,,,,

And ended up getting the following message

Unable to mount root fs on unknown-block(0,0)

Look into kernel messages

Look into kernel messages and try to determine what name your detected USB flash does get. The article assumes it is /dev/sda. If you have SATA disk your flash could be called sdb or other name.
