Can some one please explain me about Kobjects in general and links which i can go through to understand better.

Thanks for your reply. I have gone through that link. whatis of interest to me is usage of kobject_uevent, on which i could not get sufficient documentation. any info on this will be of great help to me

Linux Device Drivers (3nd edition) could help you to understand kobject
as well.
