Good point, I have a COLORADO tape drive, and I use it with a program called TAPE.EXE under dos, but it would be great if I could treat it as a tape drive - i.e. /dev/rst0 !!!

I have a Wangtek 60Mb tape drive, with Archive SC-499 QIC 24 controller. Does anyone has a device driver for it? Or maybe source code I can look into? thanks howie
