So Ive setup CARP on 2 DF-based mailservers. Installation went fine. Box 1 has ... i down the carp0 interface on Box 1, then Box 2 carp interface gets promoted to MASTER. Then I up the carp interface on Box 1, logically Box 2 should become BACKUP again ...
