bugs when floppy drive is mounted as a file system

Hi, I added your fd patches. It seems to work fine with tar. For the same 1.44 mb disk, first I used format /dev/fd0 mkfs /dev/fd 1440 mount /dev/fd0 /mnt then cd /mnt tar xvofz /tmp/linux.tar.Z

Help: need someone to test a new gcc 1.40

Hi, I just finished a new gcc compiler and a new set of libraries which are supposed to solve all the floating point number problems as well as the problems caused by the brain-damaged estdio. With a 387, you can also get a full libm.a. It is

bug fix for the new gcc 1.40

Hi, I just fixed a FP bug in gnulib, a bug in sqrt(0.0) of libsoft.a and put a new newgcc.tar.Z on tsx-11.mit.edu. The cc1 now will support dbx. Now gcc will look for /usr/local/lib and also check /usr/local/gcc-include. Since gcc is the native

gcc 2.0

Hi, Please remember gcc 2.0 now at most is just a beta. I think it is just an alpha. It may change everyday. It MAY NEED 4MB RAM and some swap space to run. It may run with 2MB RAM and 4+ MB swap space. I won't guarantee anything about that. But,

New gcc 2.0

Hi, I just put a new copy of gcc 2.0 on dec1. It should work with 0.95. To use with 0.12, you have to remove the patches applied for previous gcc 2.0 and you have to define LINUX_0_12. H.J. -- School of EECS Internet:

Attn: gcc 2.0

Hi, Gcc 2.0 is still in the alpha testing. IT MAY NEED A 387 OR 0.95 KERNEL TO RUN. DO NOT WASTE TIME IF YOU ARE USING 0.12 AND NO 387. BTW, it has the shared libs. H.J. -- School of EECS Internet: hlu@eecs.wsu.edu
