I have a cdrom that came with a language course, I can neither mount it
nor
"dd" it to an iso image inside openbsd, but it reads fine on my dvd player
(the ones you use with your tv set). I have not tried it on windows, and
anyway I would like to be able to listen to it on obsd.
This is the result of disklabel:
# disklabel cd0
# /dev/rcd0c:
type: ATAPI
disk: ATAPI CD-ROM
label: fictitious
flags:
bytes/sector: 2048
sectors/track: 100
tracks/cylinder: 1
sectors/cylinder: 100
cylinders: 1735
total sectors: 173458
rpm: 300
interleave: 1
boundstart: 0
boundend: 0
drivedata: 0

0 partitions:
# size offset fstype [fsize bsize cpg]

thanks in advance

If you don't provide any information on your set up (e.g. what
version of OpenBSD are you running?) there's little anyone can do
for you.

yes, sorry, I thought this had little to do with the version of the os.
I'm running obsd 4.6 release i386

Is this an audio disk? You can't mount a disk without a filesystem..
Or is this a DVD disk? You can't read a DVD disk in a CD-ROM drive..

If for some reason you attempted to mount an audio disk, you might have
better luck using cdio(1) instead.

It IS an audio cd, stupid me, it works fine with cdio.
Thanks a lot.
