My W500 Thinkpad doesn't always wake up from a suspend. I thought I'd
learn more about acpi so created a kernel with acpi debug turned on and
see that I have moutains of new data every 10 seconds.

I don't see a way to turn this off. Given the rate at which
/var/log/messages
is growing, my 1G /var partition isn't going to last long.

Is there a facility I'm missing?

tnx, STeve Andre'
