No, that is not what happened. I bet the next thing it said is: RUN AT LEAST 'trace' AND 'ps' AND INCLUDE OUTPUT WHEN REPORTING THIS PANIC! DO NOT EVEN BOTHER REPORTING THIS WITHOUT INCLUDING THAT INFORMATION! But you decided you are special, and don't want us to help us help you.

USB 2.0 transaction translators
Hello, I just stumbled over this: Error opening low/full speed isoc endpoint. A low/full speed device is attached to a USB2 hub, and transaction translations are not yet supported. Reattach the device to the root hub instead. It annoyed me that this doesn't yet work. But since I needed to plug my device into the hub, I found a different solution: Just disable ehci support in kernel. Works fine :-D keyboard, mouse and full-duplex audio all at one hub. Reading the TODO in ehci.c ...

Re: OpenCVS in Base?
It's in the tree but not linked into the build. You can use it and there are people working on it sporadically, but expect bugs.

Re: Campus internet connection
Do you know if there are any plans in the works for implementing 802.1X in the future? My campus also insists on using it, and it is very frustrating.

Re: Campus internet connection
Do we really need specialized hardware for 802.1X? I was under the impression that 802.1X is purely done in software, and only the WPA2 portion was done in hardware. Correct me if I'm wrong. Re: An OpenBSD smartphone
I was just thinking today about how cool it would be to have an OpenBSD phone, and then I saw your post. How bizarre. Anyway, the closest thing I have found to a "pocket computer phone" is the android line of phones. I've had an original Droid, and now I have a Droid Incredible, and I absolutely love them. They have multitasking, ssh (ConnectBot), email, full web browsers, and my favorite feature: the ability to connect to a bluetooth keyboard. Sometimes I forget I'm using a phone at all. I don't ...

Re: 1gbit LAN/NIC performance, queue speed bug?
Hi, Could somebody include this in the FAQ? I found Daniel Hartmeier personal page which shows how to get stack trace and line numbers. I know that the stacktrace info is included somewhere on openbsd.org. But the way Daniel presented was much better. That particular presentation or a link should be in the FAQ too. They would be really useful.
