The 4.6 release will be postponed to Nov 1.

There have had serious CD production problems.  Because everything in
CD manufacturing is so ridiculously outsourced, all I know is that the
plant which was used this time (Q Media services Corp in Vancouver)
have made about 6 faulty CD pressings in a row.  I will stop saying
more, otherwise this will quickly turn into a rant.

We intended to release on Oct 1 because the tree was frozen earlier
(as jj has described on undeadly.org, this was so that the f2k9
hackathon could occur in August, with an unlocked source).

But we will go back to the standard Nov 1 schedule.  Sorry about
the delay.

Can anyone point me in the direction of getting the release ISO for  
those of us that have ordered CDs?

Thanks to all of the obsd ninjas...you guys are awesome.  I'm pushing  
at our next blood cycle for a  $10k contribution.  We'll find out at

Heh. I just cannot help being a little amused by this, since we are
expecting our second kid with an ETA of Nov 1, and I thought it would
have been a fun coincidence to have OpenBSD and (possibly) a kid
"released" the same day. :-)

That funny because we have a c section scheduled Oct 1, 2009  to go in
and get my third child.  (boy). My wife REALLY believed (and maybe it
is true)  that I was going to be upgrading boxes on the same day my
sone is born.  She can rest easy now that the Release date has been
bumped up!
