yeah, we're aware of this.  as of right now, today, there is no
movement to incorporate OSS wholesale, but I have already been
digging through the sources looking for things that are useful
and can be incorporated in the near future.  most likely, this
will help us with low level drivers and OSS emulation, but things
could change.  personally, I'm interested to see what happens in
the other BSDs before I think much more about whether or not OSS
should replace the current audio system.  the source package
mentioned above doesn't even build on OpenBSD, and the current
audio system actually supports a wider variety of audio devices.

that being said, I think it's awesome that 4-Front has decided
to release OSS under the BSD license.
