Hi.
I'm actually playing with an Epson Stylus 4050 multifunction printer.
The printer parts works as well as the scanner *but* not at the same
time.
I have to disable ulpt using config(8) and reboot if I want to be able
to use the scanner. I don't need/use uscanner as sane-backends (scan
application/library) can make use of libusb to access the hardware (so
all I need is a ugen device). Is there a way to use ulpt0 and ugen0 (or uscanner0 even) at the same
time (well not printing+scanning at the same second but at least be able
to use either scan or print without rebooting the box)?
AFAIK, I don't think this is possible, but I may be mistaken.I'd be happy to try anything.
Thanks.--
Antoine
