you can't compare speed by just looking at the MHz.
the Blade 1000 is USIII if memory serves, while the netras are USIIi. 
The USIIIs are substantially faster that any USII variant at the same 
clock speed.
don't think a USIII @ 900 qualifies as speed beast. but neither slow.
