Has anyone experimented with a Sun Blade 1000?

I need a new porting machine and a new desktop, so I thought I might
kill 2 birds with one stone.

Is a dual 900 it quick? I call my 1.6GHz i386 slow, especially as I
have to run eclipse. Infact, you cant run java on sparc64 OpenBSD can
you? I guess I could dual boot solaris.

Also does X work in OpenBSD?
