that doesn't look right. from my rc.conf.local

nmeaattach_flags="-s 4800 -t !dcd cua00"

but that's because of the way i have my gps set up...


that looks like something else has opened cuaU0 before nmeaattach got
there. see what that is:

fstat /dev/cuaU0
