I have also felt before that that FAQ item could be expanded, so I

wrote an expanded answer and submitted a diff.
However, my answer was not posted online, so either people didn't like

my expanded answer, or my email got lost in the shuffle (or maybe I

made some newbie mistake with diff(1)).
