The deadline for students to apply for a position in Google's Summer of
Code program and to work with NetBSD developers on a number of exciting
projects has expired, and the application evaluation process is now under
way.

During the next couple of days, several of the NetBSD Project's developers
will review the applications received before a final list is submitted to
Google, who will then decide how many slots are awarded to NetBSD.

If you are a student who has submitted an application, please remember to
periodically check its status, as possible mentors may have left some
feedback or asked for clarification.

Many thanks to all who have applied, and good luck to everybody!
