My apologies if I gavce anyone the wrong impression at the recent BSD Super BOF at Usenix - Wasabi Systems ported the vmware kernel modules, and Linux compatibility is used to run VMware itself as a host on NetBSD. And so to the Package of the Month award - my personal favourite is pkgsrc/audio/wmsmixer (used from enlightenment, BTW), which has taken over as my mixer of choice - it's small, and can recognise mouse-wheel movement. Curt Sampson nominated pkgsrc/net/whatmask, which is a very useful program for working out netmasks, CIDR and other useful network information. And Soren Jorvang nominated pkgsrc/net/wistumbler, a useful utility for sniffing raw 802.11 packets. Alistair Crooks Tue Jul 1 17:51:20 BST 2003
