I'm currently attempting to get sniffing/injecting working on Mac OSX with my Atheros AR5008 card. Apple includes a driver based on the HAL with Mac OSX. Problem is, it's lacking the startraw function. I'm not sure other than that what's needed for sniffing/injection. Can you guys explain at a basic level what functions are needed? Below, I've included all symbols with ath in them(grep _ath) to show what is included in the driver. Can I work with these symbols to easily gain injection/sniffing?
